Welcome to the March issue of the IIC Newsletter.
Writing this, I find it hard to believe that my first-year anniversary at the IIC has just passed! I am so grateful to the members and the board for their support throughout this tumultuous year and proud of how the team have successfully pivoted our organisation to meet the needs of the community. We have a number of events coming up including our Middle East and North Africa Telecommunications and Media Forum next week, details of this and our other events can be found below. We are delighted to be co-organising an International Symposium on 5G and Driving the Benefits of Big Data with the Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Thailand on 21 June and we will bring you further details as soon as they are available.
Earlier this month, we celebrated International Women’s Day through our social media channels. A particular highlight was my fascinating conversation with the IIC’s Small Nations Regulators’ Forum President, Dr Allyson Leacock – watch here and be inspired.
