On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, the International Institute of Communications (IIC) Italy Chapter and the Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni (AGCOM), hosted a high-level meeting on Telecommunications in the Digital Transformation. The event took place at the headquarters of AGCOM and gathered leading voices from regulation, industry, and academia to discuss the evolving landscape of digital communications in Europe.
A highlight was the contribution of Augusto Preta, President of the IIC Italian Chapter. Preta opened the proceedings alongside Elisa Giomi, Commissioner at AGCOM, setting the tone for a day of strategic dialogue on digital sovereignty, infrastructure, regulation, and investment in the digital ecosystem.
